today was a better day. i was working in a different position at work for the day (filling in for someone) which meant i had pretty much nothing to do which meant i had plenty of time to look through Martha Stewart Living and Teen Vogue. it also gave me plenty of time to dream about my home i want and what my yard would be like and all the kick-ass furniture i would have. nouveau bohemian? minimalist? art heavy? french cottage? ooh...the possibilities are endless in a daydream. i love that.
i spoke to a friend i haven't called in a while. totally my fault - i get down, i get gone. i excel in Hermatising when things get a little rough. this i know, yet i cannot change. but, because today was a good day, i went out with a co-worker to see a movie. my last three choices were "23", "I Am Legend" and "Cloverfield". the first was just outright horrible and the entire theatre of people laughed at it than took it seriously. i get flashes of the dog in the red light and i start laughing and laughing..."I Am Legend" and "Cloverfield" were both terrifying and gave us nightmares, so i was shootin' 0 for 3. she picked the movie and so we saw "No Country For Old Men".
SPOILER ALERT
It was a good movie and i love Javier Bardem....but honestly, i walked out feelin' a little let down by it. he did a lot of killing. he was chasin' the money but ended up chasing llewelyn (brolin) but then brolin was killed by random drug runners, or were they workin' for bardem? why didn't he kill tommy lee jonses' character in the hotel room? does he continue to go on killing or does he stop after the car crash? where did the money go? to the drug runners that shot down brolin?
SPOILER ALERT OVER
anyways, it's the weekend and i've got my work cut out for me. i've got it cut out for you too, if you want to come help.
