woke up. saw that it was bloody cold. made coffee. went to church (for the first time in 15 yrs). came home. went to a friends place for supper. knitted. home at 1am.
i know...hardcore late night granny gangsta knittin'.
i can tell the brutal weather is taking it's toll on e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e. it's so messed up and when i start thinking about it like Al Gore would, i get seriously depressed. i don't know how brother does it...i couldn't do that job. jeez...i get depressed about the weather during a 15 minute weather break during the local news.
i've got a CD collection that could kick your CD collection's butt and it's takin' up a whole lotta space in my apartment. i plan on moving in the next couple of years and while i really don't want to box them up and move them for the 5th time, my CDs are my vice. collecting music has always been important and fun....kind of like learning about weird diseases or rashes or reading survival handbooks. it's all very positive. now...depending on where i move to (Winnipeg? Vancouver? Eurpoe?) i don't want a lot going with me. you can sell my furniture, donate some books to the library but you'll never take my CDs (or freedom)!
did you see how far along i am on my Chevalier mitten? here's what the finished (Finnish'ed har-har) product should be:
aren't they adorable?you kinda want a pair for yourself, don'tcha?
well...i be gettin' mine....
