seriously though...why blog when nothin' is goin' on....
i bought a new outfit:

pretty snazzy and 70's-riffic...it should be arriving next week sometime...hopefully. i think it'll look pretty snazzy with a denim jacket and red wedges. as for accessories...well, i now have a good reason to justify buying more necklaces and bracelets.

the weather is still a little up and down so my balcony is bare. hopefully it warms up and stays that way soon because my sweet pea plant has little room to keep growing where it is now. i'll also have to pick up some dahlia's (due to the fact mine all died) and...i dunno...something else that's kinda fun for the balcony. maybe some trailing petunias or something to go over the railing. i found a cute little bistro set for the balcony and some shades to keep outside. i face west, and from about 1:00pm to 9:00pm it is scorching hot on the balcony and also in my living room. so i figure, have some screens outside and with the drapes closed and possibly a fan running on low (depending how hot it gets), i should keep cool using way less energy than i did last summer. it felt like that air conditioning was running nonstop.

there you have it. my life basically caught up, except for the mundane work rambles. it's better - a new girl started, i'm training her and she's great. she's also my age, so that's nice and she speaks French, Italian and a bit of Spanish which maybe will mean i can get her to help me refresh, or maybe at this point re-learn, French.
