okay, so, this snow needs to melt and it needs to stay warm because i've got some sweet peas and black-eyed susans that are craving some major trellis action. whatever i be doin' i be doin' it right. oh, and the snow needs to melt pronto so i can go outside and play in my new rubber boots. remember playing "booter"? you would walk in really deep puddles or in ditches and see how far you could get without getting a "booter", or a boot full of freezing cold water? ahh...the good ol' days.

speaking of good ol' days, i was reminded of this video today. it makes me miss the mid '90's more than i thought i would. especially those easy bobs where your hair had no volume and would flip out at the bottoms when you didn't want them to. probably because "doing" your hair was tucking it behind your ears. oh, and ugly dresses and being awkward. those were the mid 90's. thank goodness there was grunge to make us all comfy in our angst and awkwardness. blah, blah, blah...here's the video:
